Getting Involved

Home > About Us > Getting Involved

For the general public, the development of personalized health care nationally and at Ohio State locally are likely to pay dividends in the forms of more precise and more effective therapies and better information for preventing diseases.  Patients and healthcare consumers also can help the advances of science and medicine by participating in clinical trials, providing charitable giving to support research, and donating their remnant tissues and blood samples for bio-banking and genetics research.  Personalized health care is preventive, preemptive, prospective, and most importantly, it is participatory.  We welcome everyone to participate in the personalized health care revolution and together we can create an exciting future to significantly improve people’s lives.

The Center for Personalized Health Care is part of the Medical Center’s development program. You can make an online donation.

For OSU employees who would like to support personalized health care research, education, and patient care activities, please consider directing your Campus Campaign contributions to the Personalized Health Care Development Fund (Fund Number: 311965).  Your support will help the OSU Medical Center develop personalized health care solutions to improve people's lives.
