
The Center for Personalized Health Care (CPHC) at the Ohio State University will host its inaugural National Conference on Personalized Health Care on October 16 and 17, 2008. The conference will be held at the Biomedical Research Tower conference facility at the Ohio State University. The major theme of the conference is "translating science into personalized health care". It will serve as a national forum to discuss the emerging trends and latest developments in personalized health care research and its translation into patient care practices. The conference features:
Attendees will gain an understanding of the following objectives:
1. Learn the latest developments in personalized health care research and clinical practice
2. Understand the legal, regulatory, and economic implications in developing personalized medicine
3. Discuss future directions and challenges as personalized health care receives greater attention from the medical community
